Unlike his regular whip attack, the whip will reach a longer range the longer you hold. However, the whip will give the enemy serious amount of damage the longer you charge. Side and A: This is Simon´s charge attack. The amount of damage the enemies recieve are from 1-5% and 3% for the "whip twirls". If you hold down the A button without pressing it repetitively, you can move the joystick up and down or any directions you want and Simon can move his whip by swinging the arm up and down. If you press the A button repetitively, he can perform other variations of different moves. By pressing the A button, Simon attacks with his whip, and he can also use different combos if you combine the A button by moving the joystick in different directions. Simon uses his whip as his primary weapon. "CastleVania II: Simon´s Quest" (1987) for the NES, "CastleVania IV" (1991) for the "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" (SNES), "CastleVania Chronicles" (2001) for the "Playstation" and "CastleVania Judgment" (2009) for the "Nintendo Wii." Simon´s other appearances are as follows, The games focuses on the family Belmont and Simon Belmont is one of the main protagonists in the CastleVania series. His main goal in the games is to kill Dracula, just like his ancestors before him. It was first released in Japan 1986 and later in the USA and Europe 1987 for the "Nintendo Entertainment System" (NES).
